Finance Director

Jordan-Gray & Associates, Inc., one of the fastest-growing independent insurance agencies in Oklahoma, is in search for a motivated, self-directed Finance Director to support the executive management team with all financial, accounting and human resource activities. The position is located at our home office in Oklahoma City, OK and reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer.


  • Participate in the development of and support the company’s strategic plans.

  • Work with executive team to forecast, trend and manage cash flow.

  • Develop and implement financial processes and procedures.

  • Manage all bank and investment accounts.

  • Manage all accounting functions within agency management software system including all accounts receivable and payables, accruals and prepaids.

  • Prepare annual operating budgets and analyze monthly progress to date.

  • Compile, analyze and close out financial reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis.    

  • Manage agency payroll.

  • Work with the executive team to manage and negotiate carrier agreements.

  • Assist in tracking the production team’s growth.

  • Develop internal process for tracking, analyzing and housing all client data for large and middle market accounts.

  • Assist with roll-out and implementation of company wide data management guidelines.



  • Superior organizational and time management skills with the ability to set priorities and implement action plans to meet deadlines.

  • Proficiency in using Applied (Epic) preferred

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook)

  • Exercises a high degree of discretion and judgment in handling confidential matters.  

  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization.

  • Ability to work with limited direction and minimal supervision.  



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.

  • Must be willing to work more than 40 hours a week on occasion.  

  • Must be willing to travel to various field and client locations.
