Business Development Property & Casualty
Reporting directly to the executive management team. The position will be responsible for business development and assisting with a variety of insurance placements and risk management functions for national and middle market accounts.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES
Develop new national and middle market accounts
Work with the executive team to manage carrier and client relationships
Assist in the mangement of key association partnerships
Assist account management team where necassary with existing clients
Monitor and manage important client claims
SKILLS | ABILITIES
Ability to organize tasks, set priorities, and implement action plans to meet deadlines
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook)
Exercise a high degree of discretion and judgment in handling confidential matters
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to independently and take initiative on specific projects
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
3+ years in a business development or insurance production role
Must be willing to travel to various field locations or association events
