Business Development Property & Casualty

Reporting directly to the executive management team. The position will be responsible for business development and assisting with a variety of insurance placements and risk management functions for national and middle market accounts.


  • Develop new national and middle market accounts

  • Work with the executive team to manage carrier and client relationships

  • Assist in the mangement of key association partnerships

  • Assist account management team where necassary with existing clients

  • Monitor and manage important client claims



  • Ability to organize tasks, set priorities, and implement action plans to meet deadlines

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook)

  • Exercise a high degree of discretion and judgment in handling confidential matters 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to independently and take initiative on specific projects



  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • 3+ years in a business development or insurance production role  

  • Must be willing to travel to various field locations or association events
